The site work has begun on the highly anticipated Community Park just South of the Kiwanda RV Resort right here in Pacific City.  With the support of Coastway Construction, they are now removing shrubs, scotch broom, dead trees and debris to make way for all of the development that will soon take place. Plans include a skate board park, traditional play ground, as well as ideas for a tennis court, horse shoe pit and possibly music amphitheater.  Funds are being raised for the development of the park via local donations, fundraising and grants.  If you are interested in helping with the community effort please visit www.nestucca.org to learn more.
